The Team

We are a very small team with a big passion for education, environment, and design. We want to build educational tools that excite children and assist teachers, in either formal or informal educational settings. Our inspiration comes primarily from children, their incredible resilience and sense of the world, while our approach is based on the lucid learning principles. Our knowledge derives from political studies, education, design, and communication.
CUiB is our first attempt at encouraging children to reflect on climate change and contemplate their role as global citizens. Please check our website regularly for new and exciting attempts!
Luana completed a doctoral study in political science and worked on research projects on migration. She created CUiB in 2015, developed the idea and defined the gameplay hoping to inspire kids to love nature and each other.
Brindusa is one of the designers of CUiB. She created together with Gentiana Dumitrascu an amazingly simple and visually intuitive board-game, helping players to cross any language and communication barriers. Currently she is part of the architecture duo stardust architects [stardustarchitects.com]
Anne researches and trains teachers in the field of intercultural and global learning. Currently working as a teacher, she advises the CUiB team with regards to pedagogical and strategic development. Anne also promotes the game and the CUiB vision by leading workshops and by networking among educational researchers, administrators and practitioners.
Maria is our newest addition. She is passionate about education, personal development, and has a great love for nature. She is our expert in communication and management.
